If all the led strips driver are using the constant voltage type led power supply? 
For simple and easy control (such as RGB dimming led driver, etc.), the light strip power supply is generally 12V or 24V constant voltage type, and for the segmented operability of the light strip, it can be used in a cut, so it is made into a standard 12V power supply.


12V power supply


The samples are all constant voltage source + current limiting resistor + LED mode. The number of LEDs is 3 in each sub-segment, and then equipped with a high-current resistance. Generally, the power supply is about 12V. If it is more intensive, you can put more of them and use 24V or other segmented methods.

The 24V soft light strip is a series of 6 LEDs as a group, and the 12V soft light strip is a series of 3 LEDs as a group. The operating voltage of each lamp is 1.5-4V. In practice, 4V is used as the reference. Ensure the brightness when the length is certain.
