Class P LED drivers that have passed the UL certification will be listed as UL Listed products. Due to circuit design or protective components, the LED drivers of this category can make the installed lighting products have the function of overheating protection, thereby eliminating the hazards of fire or electric shock. .

Now, UL has once again become the first certification body to provide a certification scheme for overheating protection LED drivers. The Class P certification program allows luminaire manufacturers to replace their LED drivers without recertifying their luminaire products.

This will provide lamp manufacturers with greater flexibility and safety in the interchangeability of LED drivers.
