If the installation environment of the power supply is wet and humid, waterproof power supply is a selection. The housing of waterproof power supply can protect their components from dust and moisture.

What are the strength of driving an LED strip with a 24 volt led driver over a 12 volt led driver? The LED strip light only has half current of the 12V strip light at 24V. An RGB LED strip is 12watts/ meter, the current of the light strip is 1 amp at 12volt, only 0.5 amps at 24volt. The lower current causes less loss during transmission. We will recommend using 24V LED strips for longer run installation if you are making selection.
