when do i need use constant voltage led driver?

For lighting equipment in actual projects, it is neither convenient nor economical to manually construct all objects with a single diode. Engineers usually use LEDs in series or parallel to produce the desired effect. Fortunately, more and more LED products are assembled together in the market, such as LED rope lights, LED light bars, etc.

The constant voltage led driver is designed for a single direct current (DC) output voltage. The most common constant voltage led driver (or led power supply) is 12VDC or 24VDC. When a constant voltage led driver is used instead of a constant current LED driver, a slightly smaller lumen is usually obtained. Although constant voltage led driver are not as widely used as similar products, they are more efficient when very large displays and or multi-component signs.
