There have two kinds of LED Drivers are most usually used for LED Lighting applications, constant voltage led driver circuit and constant current led driver circuit. Constant voltage is the most usually used type of driver which require a constant and steady DC voltage.

Constant voltage LED driver 24v 12v are required for most of the LED design. Some LEDs will require a constant current LED lighting driver which the current is fixed.

Connection mention for those two type of LED Drivers are totally different. The constant voltage LED Drivers are usually in parallel connection and the constant current LED Drivers are usually in series connection.

Constant voltage drivers are available in a kinds of different wattages LEDs, such as for LED displays and advertising signs, and LED Strip. A constant current driver can be found in a variety of different configuration where an LED lamp or product does not already have a current driver built in.
