DALI version 1

- DALI is the acronym for Digital Addressable Lighting Interface.

- DALI is a data transfer protocol designed specifically for the lighting control system. It defines the digital communication between the lighting appliances (the driving circuits of various lamps and lanterns) and the system equipment controllers (such as lighting controllers and sensors).

- Dali dimmer control supports the concept of "open systems" to ensure that DALI devices from different manufacturers are compatible with each other. DALI has become an international standard of IEC 62386 series.

DALI Version 2 is the second major Version of the DALI protocol series of standards, IEC 62386. It is currently the most recent Version of the DALI protocol, written as DALI Version 2. New features, interoperability and standardization of control devices and devices are introduced. It is also backward compatible with DALI V-1.
