A Constant Voltage LED Driver is to keep a constant voltage level when operation although changes in the load or current variations. For example Smarts Electronics’s SMT-024-096VWSW can provide 24V/8A, the output voltage remains constant at 24V whilst the output current varies from 0~8A based on the load condition. The power supply will go into an overload protection mode if the constant voltage power supply exceed 8A (The rated current).
