How to choose output power for dimmable led driver?

Dimmable LED drivers, also called dimmable LED power supplies, are a great solution when you want to replace existing incandescent or fluorescent under-cabinet lighting, or when you have an electrical outlet controlled by a wall switch, you can simply wire the dimmable led driver to the existing outlet wiring and led dimmer, remove the AC switch. Generally to say, dimmable LED drivers require a hard-wire connection to your household circuit.

Dimmable LED drivers are available in 30–300 watt power output，12volt/24volt voltage output. The amount of power needed for your application is dependent on the total watts of your LED lighting. The watts required for each led can be found in their related specification sheet, normally 80%~90% loading to extend power supply service life, for example, using one 100watt dimmable led driver to drive total 80watt led lamp.

For tape lighting, the power required depends on the brightness model as determined by LED density (number of LEDs per meter), the length of the lighting, and the design configuration for your application. Read the installation guidelines for the LED light firstly, then choose a available power supply, keep in mind do not overloading.
