What is difference between AC and DC current?
2020-12-14
Electricity flows in two ways:  in an alternating current (AC) or in a direct current (DC).

Ac current refers to the current whose current intensity and current direction change periodically, and the average operating value is zero within a period.

Direct current is the current generated by the unidirectional flow or movement of electric charge. Usually, the direction of movement is the same at all times, That is called direct current.

Pls check the difference as below:
Frequency:  The frequency of alternating current is 50Hz or 60Hz depending upon the country. The frequency of direct current is zero.
Amount of energy that can be carried: AC is Safe to transfer over longer city distances and can provide more power. While DC cannot travel very far until it begins to lose energy.
Direction: AC reverses its direction while flowing in a circuit. DC flows in one direction in the circuit.

Smarts specialize in ac dc transformer for led lights, such as switching ac dc power adapter, which got ETL/CE/ROHS approval, and ac dc led driver 700ma, which provide dimming and non-dimming led driver.
